Our Thinking... Projective Techniques
Where appropriate we use Projective and Elicitation techniques. The use of many of these techniques in modern qualitative research were pioneered by CRAM's founder, the late Peter Cooper.
- Helps uncover respondents subconscious needs
- Encourages emotional as well as rational responses
- Provides non-verbal and verbal means of expression
- Gives permission to express novel ideas
- Reduces social constraints and censorship
- Encourages group sharing and 'opening up'
Techniques include: Free Association, Analogies, Psychodrawing, Collage, Story Telling, Sorting Exercises, Guided Dreams, Personification, User Image, Synaesthesia.
