Simon Patterson - CEO
Simon is a Consumer Psychologist specializing in Motivational Qualitative Research & Consultancy, who has personally conducted studies in over 40 countries and has worked on a broad spectrum of strategic marketing and branding issues for blue chip clients around the world.
He is a highly experienced moderator having personally conducted well over 1,000 Workshops and Focus Groups in the UK and US.
Simon was formerly Managing Director at CRAM International where he worked for over 25 years, working closely with its Founder the late Peter Cooper,
Simon is a Visiting Lecturer at Cambridge University. He has given many Papers at Industry Conferences (including ESOMAR, MRS, AQR and QRCA).
Debbie Whittick - Operations Director
Debbie has more than 23 years experience in project management and logistics.
Debbie has overseen a vast number of projects, both in the UK and Internationally. She is highly experienced in project coordination and has an enormous knowledge of all field related issues.
Areas Debbie has covered include: Retail, Healthcare, Luxury Goods, B2B, Automotive, Food and Drinks, Internet/New Media, Finance, fmcg, Toiletries and Telecommunications.
Debbie was formally Operations Manager at CRAM International and worked for the company for 20 years.
Dr Alan Branthwaite - Consultant Director
Alan is a Chartered Psychologist with wide experience of qualitative marketing research, brand consultancy and consumer psychology.
Previously, he was Global Director of Qualitative Research & Development at Millward Brown and prior to that a founder member of CRAM International.
Alan has extensive experience of conducting studies into needs and motivations, Brand image and segmentation, Advertising development and enhancement. Research projects have been conducted in over 40 countries worldwide.
Alan has been active in the development of qualitative research methods and is a frequent contributor to conferences and seminars on market research.
Peter Moseley - Head of Broadcasting
Peter has spent over 20 years in the film Industry filming for BBC, ITV and Channel 4. He has filmed and produced over 100 commercials and worked on many well know programmes and series. He has spent over 10 years creating programmes for the market research sector most specifically into the psychology of brands. He has produced documentaries covering many subjects including films on the meaning of confidence for Unilever, understanding what it is like living with various medical conditions for GSK and looking in depth at the lifestyles and habits of Lloyds and Halifax customers.
John Pawle - Online Quantitative Director
John has been instrumental in pioneering online methods of measuring emotion, including QualiQuant and Lovemarks since 2000. He was formerly MD of QiQ International, the innovative online agency he created with Peter Cooper and CRAM International. Prior to that he had a long and successful career at Unilever, which included senior positions in Russia, Dubai and, laterally, Blackfriars. John has also written many conference papers for ESOMAR and MRS on Measuring Emotion, the Emotional Effects of Advertising and Brand Personality.
James Patterson - Research Director
James is a Motivational Researcher with a deep interest in consumer psychology, and has over 18 years experience in qualitative research and Consultancy.
James is a highly experienced and creative senior moderator specialising in the use of projective techniques and consumer engagement. He has conducted a number of large international studies across various markets and cultures.

Jessica Neild - Associate Director
Jess has a deep interest in understanding consumers and the analysis of socio-cultural differences. In addition she is fascinated by global cross- cultural issues and the impact this has upon consumer behaviour in both Developed and Developing Markets. She has many years experience conducting and analysing international research studies.
She is a highly experienced depth interviewer, Ethnographer and film editor.

Dr Kevin Childs - Consultant Researcher
Kevin Childs has worked in market research for over ten years, first as a research executive at CRAM International and then as a consultant. He has carried out studies for a number of major companies and brands, exploring retail space and offer, brand identity and development, product development and testing, advertising campaigns, consumer relations, ethnographic studies of consumer behaviour and broad cultural trends. His areas of expertise include luxury brands, media, pharmaceuticals, communications, the leisure industry and semiotics. Kevin was awarded a PhD in 2010 and has written extensively on various aspects of art and culture and Brand histories.
